San Pedro de Atacama

After an unsuccessful few days in Pucón where the weather was too bad to see anything, we made our way up Chile, passing through Santiago to get to San Pedro de Atacama, the closest town to the Atacama desert and other nearby attractions.

San Martín de los Andes

Also in the Argentinian Lake District, we made a stop at San Martín de los Andes, a sweet town in a very beautiful setting.

Bariloche

After a beautiful 23 hour bus ride from Buenos Aires, we spent three nights in Bariloche on the shores of Lago Nahuel Huapi, walking in the picturesque National Park nearby and embracing the chilly air that reminded us of home.
